RSA Conference 2020 theme: Human Element. “With all the new technologies, strategies and artificial intelligence being employed by both security pros and threat actors, one thing remains constant: us. We are the Human Element within cybersecurity. That’s what joins us together.”
Indeed there is no better platform to showcase the fruits of human innovation, as driven and imaginative individuals devise ever more advanced tools. AnChain.AI’s product development has emphasized maximizing the human element since day 1. This year’s winner of the RSA innovation sandbox brought to public attention an emerging field that we at AnChain.AI believe to be especially critical: RegTech, or regulatory technology.
As FinTech continues to evolve, so too must RegTech alongside it, ensuring that all market participants can transact with security and confidence. While the field is still taking shape, we believe that RegTech will become a staple of the cybersecurity lexicon in the very near future, and are thrilled to play a critical role in bringing RegTech to the blockchain.
At AnChain.AI, we strive to bring an enterprise-grade cybersecurity arsenal to the blockchain economy, empowering security, risk-management, and regulatory efforts in all facets of the industry.
Amidst the buzz and excitement of RSAC 2020, AnChain.AI is proud to see our contributions recognized by Momentum Cyber, the premier trusted advisor to the cybersecurity industry based in San Francisco, and to be featured in CYBERscape 2020 as a leader in the emerging field of Blockchain Security. AnChain.AI is delivering industry-leading analytic and investigative support and empowering the security, risk-mitigation, and compliance efforts necessary for broad adoption.
2019 proved an exciting and tumultuous year in blockchain, as ambitious and high-profile development including Facebook Libra, the Chinese DE/EP, Bitcoin halving, DeFi’s continuing evolution, the rise of custodians, and emerging ETF. One thing is for sure though, none of these projects can truly thrive without commensurately advanced blockchain security.
The blockchain security industry is still maturing, representing a total addressable market (TAM) of only ~$1 billion of the more than $120 billion of the cybersecurity industry at large, and stands to grow substantially as capital continues to flow into the blockchain economy.
Decentralization imposes a significantly greater potential risk exposure for crypto assets, and introduces new challenges in infra-sec, AML, and regulatory compliance. As the blockchain industry strives for broad adoption and legitimacy, comprehensive cybersecurity has never been more essential.
2020 marks the beginning of an amazing decade. We look forward to more leading cybersecurity experts joining this quickly-emerging blockchain security space.
